Website (Next.js & Vite)
The Website framework target is optimized for building production web applications, SaaS dashboards, and marketing portals.
Scaffolding & Tooling
When creating a Website project, you can choose between:
- Next.js (App Router): Server-side rendering (SSR), React Server Components (RSC), API routes, and edge runtime capabilities.
- Vite + React / SPA: Lightning-fast client-side single-page applications with instant hot-module replacement.
Both stacks come pre-configured with:
- TypeScript with strict compilation flags.
- Tailwind CSS v4 and standard design system tokens.
- Lucide icon sets and accessible UI primitives.
Live Preview & Tunnels
- Proxy Server: Caide routes local web traffic through an internal reverse proxy server, resolving CORS and asset pathing issues seamlessly.
- LiveLab Viewports: Inspect your responsive layout across Desktop (1440px), Laptop (1024px), Tablet (768px), and Mobile (375px) breakpoints.
- Preview Tunnels: Share a temporary, password-protected public tunnel URL with teammates or clients to review progress in real time.
1-Click Vercel Deploy & Neon Sync
When you are ready to publish:
- Open the Publish panel in Caide.
- Link your GitHub repository.
- Deploy directly to Vercel.
- If you have connected Neon serverless Postgres, Caide automatically creates a production database branch and injects the
DATABASE_URLenvironment variable into your Vercel deployment settings.
