Provider usage is billed by your provider. Caide Agent includes a 7-day / 500-credit trial, then a one-time ₦3,000 30-day pass paid through Bachs. Pay by bank transfer, card, mobile money, or crypto; the pass does not auto-renew. Limits are enforced per rolling 5-hour, 7-day, and 30-day window.

Is Caide free?+
Yes. Caide is free forever when you connect your own provider account or API key. You pay the provider directly, and Caide adds no quota, subscription, or token markup for BYOK use.
What is Caide Agent?+
Caide Agent is the optional hosted agent. It costs ₦3,000 for 30 days after a 7-day / 500-credit trial, runs on OpenCode Console, and does not require you to bring a provider key. It is the only paid surface in Caide.
Do I need a Caide account to use BYOK?+
No. You can use the desktop app indefinitely with your own keys and no Caide account. An account is only needed for Caide Agent usage, API keys, and billing.
What happens when the trial ends?+
When the 7 days or 500 credits run out, Caide Agent requires the ₦3,000 30-day pass. BYOK continues to work without a plan. The pass is a one-time payment and does not auto-renew; buy another pass to extend access.
Which providers can I bring?+
Seven providers: OpenRouter, OpenCode Console, Caide Agent, ChatGPT/Codex, Claude Code, DeepSeek, and Google Gemini. ChatGPT/Codex and Claude Code use your existing account login; the rest use your own API key.
Does Caide store my prompts?+
BYOK traffic goes directly from your machine to the provider. Caide Agent is proxied through Caide's gateway to OpenCode Console, and Caide records aggregate usage counts only — prompts and generated code are not stored by Caide.
